ARgh!!!!!!! I am sooooooo sorry Its been forever since I last updated! I honestly lost my creative mojo for a couple of weeks and then I been really ill for over a month so that is why I have not updated! :-D but I am back! and feeling good! I am hoping to get scrapping again next weekend!

While I have been gone Kitty Robot celebrated its one year anniversary!!!!!!! congratulations girls!!!!!!! I am so proud to be part of this Design Team.

I am going to be a much better blogger and much better scrapper! and also I am going to start taking lots of photos too!

I have been the worse blogger EVER I know! I have had so much going on in my life.......I will talk about that in a minute! this week I am am on leave! I went to see some friends in Manchester! and went to Brighton on Saturday! went shopping yesterday and am just chilling out! which is soooooooooo nice for a change!

I really lost my scrapping mojo because my brain has been full of thoughts lately! having this week off and the fact that the mail man bought me 2 yummy scrapbook kits to play with has inspired me to scrap. This morning I woke up at 8am and scrapped these two layouts with the Sweet Spuds kit. The above layout is of Roxie as a kitten!

This months Sweet Spuds kit was outdoorsy/hippy themed and so I chose this photo to scrap of my dad, brother and I camping here in the UK West Country 5 years ago! we used to go here alot, it was a 6 hour drive and we all loved it! no cars, riding our bikes, sports, the forest and swimming pool. Even the rain did not ruin our fun! I used some orange paint on this layout which greated a fun and new effect! I was in an experimental mood this morning LOL. I also used an owl kitty robot button which looks perfect with the theme of the layout, check out HERE as their shop has had a huge update of new buttons!

That brings me onto why I have not been blogging so much! I have been soooooooo upset at work lately! I won't bore you with the details but the company is not run well, certain members of staff think they run the place and get away with things all the time, knowone listens to you! I am in finance and I really struggle with it! but I have been forced to take on more then I can manage and I am making mistakes! I try so hard but I just am not good at finance. I have been looking for a new job for a while as some of you regular readers will know!

I was actually going to hand my notice in at work..........and I nearly did, until......................My friend Jennie and I at work (who also hates it there) started talking a month ago about how much we would like to travel around Australia for a month and go to places like LA on the way! and I started really looking into it. I knew Jennie was not 100% sure because she has things to sort out at home first! but in the last week we are still really looking into it, and have booked an appointment with a travel agent in London next Thursday to get a quote. I have £3000 saved ($6000) and have four months to save as we want to go in 4 months! I will be leaving work before we go! because we only get 20 days holiday a year and for this we would need 25 which we do not have and they won;t let us have it unpaid. I want to go travelling and know that I do not have to go and work there again. I will make sure I have a bit of money for when I come home to get by, and I will have to do temp work but this is a once in a lifetime oppertunity! and I am sooooooooooo excited! I just hope it happens. xxxxx

Guess Who Is Back????

I am back!!!!! with a brand new Sony laptop! the same one as James Bond has LOL!
Its on my credit card which is not good..........but I could not live without a laptop and my 2 year old laptop was going to cost alot of money to be fixed. I wanted a new laptop by Christmas anyway so whats a few months early? haha.

I have had alot of time to think being away from the computer and not scrapping for ages! work is getting me down and I know its time for me to leave, but there are not many jobs around at the moment.
I have the latest Sweet Spuds kit to play with but have ran out of glue!
I am growing out my hairstyle! it was like Victoria Beckhams but now I am growing it into one length bob.
I am loving Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice-cream! and have eaten a whole tub in 3 days!
I need to get my lazy butt into the gym again! but I am too tired today and would rather go shopping! even though I have no money because I have bought this laptop.

I hope to be scrapping soon xxx

Broken Laptop

Sorry for the lack of updates! my laptop has broke and so has the power lead!
I am using my brothers computer to type this! and look at my emails quickly!

He is studying for his exams though and so I won't be able to use this much until next week.

I am torn between getting it fixed or buying a new laptop!

In the meantime, I am sorry I have been a rubbish blogger and I have not been commenting much on blogs and galleries!

I hope to be back ASAP xxxxx

I am Back!!!!

I am back! I am sorry I have been a rubbish blogger but I have been Ill! I have come online a little bit to comment on layouts and blogs but I have not been my normal self! that and the fact that I have been super busy ment any time I have had to myself I have been laying in bed with a DVD! but I am good now and back scrapping!!!!!!!!! This is for the latest OLW challenge! I had to use these photos of my mum and I making a wish at the Trevi Fountain in Rome, she kept saying "Remember Nik you only get one wish" so I had to think about it carefully. See if you can see the cute little blue bird Kitty Robot button!

I used this months gorgeous Dozens Kit for both of these layouts! I love these kits they just keep getting better and better.
Now this layout is of my parents and my Aunt and Uncle at the Grand Canyon. They went to Las Vegas in November last year and this paper was perfect for a layout of the Canyon! my mum is going to frame this layout and put it somewhere in the house!

Here are a couple of my latest 365 photos! I am now behind! my new little miss giggle top! which suits me because everyone calls me a "Giggler". and my new nail varnish, the color is beautiful.

Tonight I am going to see Sex And The City with my cousian and out for a pizza! I cannot wait to see this movie!!!!

Kitty Robot

Some of you may know that I am a DT member for Kitty Robot! and I thought it was about time I wrote an entry about my favorite products! and show some layouts of how I used the buttons!

I must say that Kitty Robot buttons are my favorite embellies! there are soooooo many varieties and the quality of the product is amazing!

The newest addition to the shop is these BRIGHT GLASSED - cute bright and fun buttons handmade from sculpey clay! I have just seen them today and they are my new favorites! they are bright and funky and have alot of detail to them!

Here is a layout I have created using these fun BRIGHT sculpey buttons - set of 9, polymer clay - scrapbooking sewing or craft buttons, (see closup photo below) you can buy them HERE

These buttons I bought months ago long before I was asked to be a DT member! when I got these in the mail I fell in love with these! they so so cute and I cannot explain how much detail is on each button and how much dimention there is! they really make a layout or project stunning.

I also wanted to point out these Adorable little owl buttons!!!! I have a couple in my DT pack, I am waiting till I create a layout where these will fit perfect on! again just look at the detail on these!

Things have been really busy here the last week! but at last Sunday is here and I slept in until 10am! scrapped this layout for the Scrap Mojo Challenge, and have watched some of the first series of SATC I am kind of having a marathon of the whole box set before I watch the film.

I am in love with these Dymo labels and keep buying them! I keep using them for the back of envelopes and packages! I cannot get enough of the Dymo.

I went for a meal in Covent Garden yesterday and bought some of these gorgeous cupcakes! I could not resist! they are little yummy pieces of art and I love this photo I took.

I have started the gym again! Its alot of money because its an exclusive gym where only people over 18 can join and everything is modern and just lovely! but I need somewhere like that to motivate me to go and get fit!!!!

I have been spending my money Friday ordering online! I have ordered this "Little Miss Giggles" Top! thats so me!!! I am always giggling! I love funny people because they make me laugh I am not a funny person but I like to laugh at people who make me laugh........If that makes any sense lol! people always say to me "what you laughing at?" or "you are such a giggler"

Have a wonderful Sunday, I am going to keep watching SATC I want to be on seies 3 by the end of the day and its 2.30pm so looks like I will be up till midnight!

I have tomorrow off as it is a national holiday so I can stay up late.

Scrap Block

I have been suffering with Scrappers block! I just have not been in the mood to scrapbook! its horrible! here is a layout I did today for Scrapstars you have to think of a person you know who has a song with their name in it and scrap it. Mine is of Roxie, we got her name from the musical Chicago, I love that song Roxie sings "The Name on everybody's lips is gonna be...ROXIE"
I used a mushroom Kitty Robot button! I got in the mail this week, thank you Jodie!!! I am also on the blog this week so go check it out!

I had yesterday off work which was lovely although I spent until 12.30 in the hairdressers, then I went to my local shopping mall, I treated myself to some gorgeous chocolate from a shop called "Hotel Chocolat" Yum Yum! they even give you free chocolate when you are browsing the shop!

Here is what my creative mess looked like today! Sweet Spuds May kit layed out on my floor! I scrapped one layout with it so far. This layout is for Category Stories latest challenge about candy! I LOVE my candy I cannot go a day without it! and I could not resist using some candy/choccie wrappers for this layout.

I have the whole house to myself now for about 4 hours............I am going to do what I have not done in a long time, but some music on REALLY LOUD and dance around my house like I am the best singer/dancer in the whole of the uk! (even though I am the most rubbish)!

Summer Time

It has been hot here in the UK for a week now, summer is officially here! I scrapped this layout this morning, so early because I wanted to scrap but wanted to sit in the sunshine and chillax, so I decided to scrap at 9am. I used some funky Kitty Robot buttons they actually made the layout complete as they added so much dimention and color.

I love this because its true for me at the moment! I am starting to be proud of myself and my beliefs and I am starting to be happy with the person I am becoming! I have alot of strong views and opinions and do not want to follow what is "normal" I want to just be me!

Here is some eyecandy some cupcakes and eyeshadow I bought this week, look at the colors on that eyeshadow!!! it lasts all day which is good for someone like me, I never carry a mirror or makeup so what I put on in the morning has to last lol.

I spent all afternoon in the garden! it was lovely and Roxie came out and sat with me.......she is a strange cat, she does not like going outside in the day. Roxie is getting better though and as its Summer and we are all outside she does not want to miss out on the fun and comes outside to join us!

I took an hour this morning to go though some kits I still have in boxes that I have used but not thrown away the scraps etc, I had 4 boxes and had to decide what to keep! I feel like I have more room now!

I MADE THE SISTV CATWALK

Wow! I am so happy right now! sorry to sound like I am bragging but I made this weeks Catwalk HERE with the layout "I Rock" which I posted in my previous post! Lisa Garay picked me! and I am so so honored! this layout kind of ment alot to me, because it was not easy to be positive and the design with cutting out the photo etc was a change for me so I guess this layout has made me feel good about myself a tiny bit.

This layout I created yesterday "A Step Break" having a break on the Spanish Steps in Rome! I used the April Dozens kit! I still have some left! its amazing how much you can make out of kits.Here is today's 365 photo! after having a 3 day weekend (national UK holiday yesterday) I really did not want to go to work today.

Tomorrow after work I am going shopping to spend my birthday money! I cannot believe I have not spent it yet. Its also gorgeous weather here in the UK.........well here in the south! a bit of sun and everyone is in their shorts and flip flops lol. xxxxx

Got My Scrap On

I got up at 9am this morning (late for me) and ate a fruit salad and cleaned my bedroom until there was no dust in site! then got my scrap on! I am liking scrapping on the floor at the moment! I feel I have more space and can move around more.

The top layout was for a challenge on SISTV to do a layout about positive things about yourself. I found this really hard, I know not many people love themselves but I have no confidence in myself! I was bullied pretty much all through school which convinced me I am ugly and I am always negative about myself I never say "I am really creative" or "I am a great cook" which I am........I wish I could love myself more...

Now this gorgeous piece of art I just had to share with you! I took this photo in Rome, we were walking to the Spanish Steps and came across a man outside his restaurant carving Roses out of a pumkin! I was amazed!

Sunny Saturday

Today is my first day of my 3 day weekend! Its now 4pm here. I went shopping this morning and got back at 1pm! I tried to find a skirt but could not find the perfect one, to big too small or did not like the way it looked. I ended up buying clothes which I did not go to get lol.

I made this layout when I got back, me eating Ice-cream in Italy! using the April Sweet Spuds Kit! I then made some home-made soup from scratch for lunch and bought some french-bread. I have been baking bread too! now I am sitting back relaxing and watching juno for the 3rd time.

Here is what I was wearing today, I can never decide what to wear, what accessories match my outfit and what bag goes! I always judge the weather wrong too! If I wear short sleeves it ends up being a freezing cold day.

New Blog Header and Ramblings

What do you think of my new header??? A couple of people have noticed it already! thank you for the comments! I wanted a bit of a change so added new music too.

Here are a couple of photos from Rome the Trevi Fountain and me trowing a coin in.......if you throw a coin backwards into the fountain you will return to Rome (I sure hope so).

2. Cannot wait till this weekend! Monday is a UK holiday so its a 3 day weekend, lots of scrapping, painting and watching old movies!

3. Love that it is light when I get home! and the sun is starting to come out showing signs that summer is here.

4. I am having a spending spree on ASOS DOT COM! there is so much new stock on that site, got to get me some.

Scrapping At Last

At last I had a morning to scrap a couple of layouts! and its now 1pm! I got two kits while I was on Holiday and I started working my way through the Dozens Kit for these two layouts of Rome.

The papers are perfect for scrapping my photos of Italy! I was tagged by Laura this week to post 7 random facts about myself.........here they are!

Guess Who Is Back?????????

I had an AMAZING time in Rome Italy! I we took over 200 photos! I have picked a few to share with you in this post but I will keep posting photos over the next few weeks.

These two photos are my FAVORITES! on my mission was to have my photo taken with some gladiators outside the Colosseum! and I did it! wooo! I love these photos and love how scared my mum looks! the gladiator next to me kept saying how beautiful I was.......ciao bella!

The city is breathtaking, the following photos are of our first day, we arrived at 1pm and had lunch and had a walk past the collosseum, up to the top of a building where we walked up hundreds of stairs but the view was worth it. We then walked back to our hotel and settled in and had a meal at a nearby restaurant and then back to the hotels for cocktails.

One Day it was very hot weather just like Saturday we walked to the Trevi Fountain which was so beautiful and magnificent! we visited the spanish steps and had a tour of the Collesseum which I found very intersting, the whole story of the gladiators and how it was built and how when it was not used anymore the peasents of the city took the metal out of the building to make money and to build houses.......that is why the collesseum has so many holes in it. I could go on forever talking about it!

We shopped and had dinner in a Pizzeria and sat outside, the pizza was delicious and a band played music "Thats Amore" as we ate.

The first day photos of the collesseum and me in the hotel bar with my cosmopolitan.

There was the same barman every night he made the best cocktails I have ever tasted.

I am still going through my photos and there are so many more I want to share we spent a whole day on a guided tour of the Vatican which simply amazing and the sistean chapel made me speechless! and emotional to think that Michael Angelo painted that ceiling all those years ago and the st Peters was huge and there was so much to look at.

I could go on forever about how much of a wonderful time we had. The ice cream was gorgeous and the people are so friendly and yes the men are GORGEOUS!!!! I got called a "blonde bombshell" by a waiter and a guy at reception said "you are how they say in England cute" in an Itallian accent! I never get those kinds of compliments so I loved it lol!

I will be posting more photos and more details of my trip! and I will be scrapping this weekend if I can get all my washing and ironing done! lol xxx

On Vactation To Rome

YAY! At last one more day till my trip to Rome!!!! so excited! I am really disorganized though I am only just starting to pack!

I have been learning all the basic words of Italian all week, please, thank you, hello goodbye etc. I think its rude to go to another country and not know basic words like that!

I cannot wait to taste the gorgeous pizzas, pasta and ice-cream!

I Got My Mojo Back!

Two posts in two days! wow I am back on track lol! I got my mojo back this morning! wohoo! my mind is usually full of ideas, I have to write them down, but this week my mind has been on other things and planning my trip next weekend, that when I thought of scrapping my mind was blank.......nothing popped into my head. Until this morning YAY! I woke up at 8am to scrap this layout. Its for the latest scrap mojo challenge, I created a layout to help me plan what to take with me on my trip to Italy.

With work stressing me out I have not really had time to think about my Holiday to Rome, and all of a sudden its next weekend! This layout has helped me so much and I am looking forward to going to Rome next weekend. I am sticking this layout on my mirror, to remind me what to take!

I treated myself to a new I-pod Nano yesterday! I love it, its so cute and I will use it on my holiday, I am sitting here trying to upload some tunes, could anyone give me some good tunes???? I am on number 20 and now I cannot think of anymore. Whenever I am driving I always hear songs and think "I must download that" and then I forget it lol!

Early Birthday Pressie

I have nothing scrapping to share! I have lots of stuff to play with but have had no time! and I am hoping to try to get one layout done tomorrow! Its been a busy week I had an interview, found out they really liked me and was in the running for the job and they were interviewing till the end of the week, but I have not heard and I know it is a no, work has been stressful and my car is playing up! the breaks and the gear stick. I am also trying to get organized for Rome which is exactly a week today.

My mum gave me an early birthday present this morning, she knows how stressed I am and as we are in Rome for my birthday on 21st I have been given this gorgeous bag early! I LOVE IT! its so bright and different. My mum said she has some little presents she is taking on our trip so I can open them when I am there.

Other news is I have upgraded my flickr account to a pro account! wooo! about time! haha, here is a latest photo from my 365 day project, I got my haircut on Thursday.

Winter WonderLand In April..........

ITS SNOWING!!! and its settled on the floor which never happens in the UK! people in my road are making snowman so cool!

I LOVE houndstooth at the moment and created this layout of Roxie as a kitten yesterday afternoon when I had some time I used some new Love Elsie Claire too!

I also got some new Bampop in the mail this week! and had to play with it this morning! here is what my creative space looked like this morning! I was not getting my inspiration sitting at my craft table to I set up camp on the floor! lol and here is what I created.

This layout is of me in 1998 when I fell down the stairs and broke my ankle! I am such a clumsy girl! it happend at school on my 2nd day there! I remember this photo being taken, I am in my football shirt because we were watching our team play a match on TV!

I am loving star prints at the moment! I bought this bracelet last week, and have a new blouse which is blue and has star prints in gold!

I need to sort my head out.......so much I want to do so I am going to make a list of what needs to be done and what timeframes. I have another interview this week which I do not think I will get but its good to have an interview and every interview is an experience in life. I think its better to be positive about things rather then think you will not win something or ever achieve just think you will but all the rejections before are just experiences that make us stronger!

Stacey Fike Swap

Ok I had to post this real quick before I go food shopping. Here is a layout I created for a Swap with the wonderful Stacey Fike! I painted around the photo which is a new technique for me! but I like how it turned out, painted around the layout and did some doodles too.

WOW isn't it AMAZING!!!! I love the colors and the design, its perfect! photo swaps are so much fun and great for inspiration.

One more day till the weekend and gosh I need a break! In 16 days I will be here........

Rome Italy! this is my hotel bar/terrace with a view of the Colleseum its a 4 star modern hotel! a 4 night break is just what I need! I cannot wait to visit this wonderful city full of culture.

April Fools Day!!!

I was asked to be one of this months DT of scrapmusik go and check out the song its so much fun, and really catchy.

How funny is this........I have been shopping in Bluewater for years......I go every other weekend and I never noticed that this hello kitty shop opened, I must be stupid I know! I cannot believe it was right under my nose all this time and I never saw it!

I just got these little pumps in the mail! black with little dimontes on them! they are so cute! and comfortable, I am 5ft 6 so do not need to wear heals much apart from at work, I love my pumps and ugg boots.

My DT term at Scrapping The Music has ended! its been 6 months I cannot believe it has gone so fast, I learnt so much and it was a great experience.......as they say one door closes and another one opens. Except a new door has not opened yet!!!

This Cat Is Bananas

I had the best wake up call Saturday morning! my doorbell rang and Mr postman bought me the March Dozens Kit I LOVE IT! its packed full of fun and vintage goodies. I was going to save it till next week but could not resist creating this layout as soon as I saw this monkey pp! I knew I had to create a layout about one of the many songs I sing to Roxie. When she is in a crazy mood "This Cat Is Bananas" haha I kept singing it all day yesterday. I will be creating with the rest of the kit next weekend! I had other kits I needed to use up this weekend.

I used up my Sweet Spuds kit for this layout. The latest Overlooked challenge! This photo is what was in my fridge a few weeks ago. I had fun with this layout because I typed on my dymo and stuck the food labels next to the food and wrote on the layout which was fun to do.

After my spring clean last weekend I am now feeling that it was a waste of time. I have paints everywhere, brown parcels full of kits and paper and I am back to square one with the organisation. I got my Zingboom SISTV vintage collection at the end of last week! I love things like this I am thinking of a good use for them so I might save them for a while.

It was pouring with rain yesterday so I stayed at home and scrapped and watched some movies and we bought the whole of Buffy The Vampire Slayer on DVD so have been watching that. Today I have been cooking fruit cake and soup and the house smells lovely and fresh.

Thought Of The Week.....

I will start this week with a positive thought of the week! "Enjoy Relaxing and Creating" I created this today........I got up early and felt like doodling so got my pens out. I am sticking this on my noticeboard to remind me thats what I enjoy and to forget about work this week and look forward to the weekend of relaxing and creating. This 4 day break has been brilliant because that is all I have done.......and shopped too much lol.

Here is a layout I did for fun yesterday! Easter Sunday by the time I had scrapped this I had taken a polaroid photo, spring cleaned and eaten chocolate and jellybeans. Had to get the paint out and fun embellies I felt like doing a crazy page.

A Day In London........

This morning I got up and scrapped this layout for Category Stories, what would you do if you had a million $$$$$???? I would buy an apartment in NYC, run my own candy store or bakery and buy a yellow cab! I had so much fun with this layout!!!

Yesterday I had the best day up town London Baby!!!! I live 20 minutes away on the train and I am lucky to live near here! even though I am always in London I still love seeing the sights like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace ! and I got a black cab yesterday to Oxford street and did some shopping in Selfridges.....

Yummy marshmellow easter shake! how cute is that? it looks too good to eat! I had to buy it, In selfridges they have a huge food hall and candy area you could get lost in it.

& this little choccie bunny! I love Lindt chocolate its delicous! I also bought some jelly beans and a new pen.

OOOOOOOh and I got two bags for my birthday from Top Shop! the biggest Top Shop in the world is on oxford street and my fav bags "Pauls Boutique" are there! so my mum treated me to two for my birthday...........I was sooooooooo excited! Its difficult to tell you how much I love them without photos! I will have to show you on my birthday in a month! because when I got home my mum took away the bags and said "No photos.........you are not getting these until your birthday" eeek! I cannot wait!!!!

So many little things to update on.......so I am going to do it as a summary.

The next Kitty Robot kit is up for sale tomorrow! the above photo is a sneak! it looks so good doesn't it?
Tomorrow is the last day at work before Easter break. Here in the UK we get Friday and Monday off work, so thats a 4 day weekend WOOOHOOOO!!!!!
Friday I am going shopping in London! up Oxford street and covent garden, most of the day I will spend in Selfridges! I love shopping in London, its only 20 minutes away on the train.........but I always shop till I drop! its so tiring!

Love this owl lounge wear! there is a sweater which matches as a set! I might have to buy it!

I received some New Love Elsie *Claire* papers and embellies this week! I cannot wait to start scrapping with them! I have two days of scrapping planned this weekend! I hope I can get some creative things done. I have about 3 brown mail boxes on my craft table at the moment, the 2 March kits, which still have goodies inside to scrap and one full of Love Elsie and thicker stickers! I need to sort out my supplies lol.

Happy Birthday Dad! 51 today! its 2pm here and he is so far not having a good day........him and my mum have just broke down in their car while going to the pub for a drink, and its pouring with rain, they are waiting for the breakdown service to collect them! this afternoon we are having a takeaway and watching his favorite film......I hope the day gets better lol.

This layout is for this weeks challenge over at Scrapping The Music I used my sweet spuds kit (which rocks) this song is "Fly Away" I used the lyrics "I want to get away" right now all I want is a break, I cannot wait to go to Rome in Italy next month.

Here is another layout using the sweet spuds March kit! my sweet little Roxie looking like a teddy bear in this photo! love the AC sparkle thickers! I still have half of the kit left so watch this space.

next weekend is easter weekend here in the UK which means we all get Friday and Monday off work! two 4 day weeks wooop! and that means more time to scrap! YAY! I was feeling like I lost my mojo the last week as I had other things on my mind, today I got up and found my mojo and created these two layouts.

Positive Thinking

Thanks so much to everyone who commented on my last post! I am trying to be positive now and not feel sorry for myself lol! I will find another job its just going to take time because I want to find the right job in the perfect location.

Funny enough I went for an interview Wednesday and 1. It was too far too travel 2. I did not like the place it just did not feel right, and guess what?????? I got that job!!! the agency called me and said they really liked me and wanted me to meet the management and I said I did not want the job.........because I want to make sure I find somewhere I like. Its made me feel more confident because I feel that I can get a job but have to be patient and find the right one!

Here are a couple of my latest 365 days photos, me in my new scrave which I love! and my favorite hot chocolate "options" and its only got 50cals per serving but tastes like it has 1000 cals in it lol its so chocolaty!

Its 6.30am here Saturday morning I am up so early because Roxie kitty was crying lol! I have a note from the post office saying they have a parcel for me to pick up..........could it be the Sweet Spuds Kit?????? eeek! so excited! I am going to drive and pick it up before I go shopping.

Trying To Stay Positive.

This week has been a stressful one! no luck with interviews or new jobs and with work getting to me more and more I think its all just getting me down! so it is good I have had a nice relaxing weekend.

Saturday - I went shopping in the morning to buy my friend a birthday present, I also bought myself some clothes, candy, and a heated hair brush, all one my credit card! and I also bought some sushi for my lunch Yummo! I came home, and scrapped the above layout "Best Days" for the latest category stories challenge! my best days are like the day I had Saturday, shopping, scrapping, and eating sushi! I used paint, crayons and sakura pens to color the rainbows, it took me ages.

Sunday - Today I have been sooooooo tired! I spoke to my mom and she thinks I am stressed with work because I basically manage finance all by myself at 20 years old, and that combined with looking for another job is stressful. I got up at 6am to clean Roxies Tray and let her come up for a morning cuddle, I have been so tired I had breakfast, did my ironing and slept 11am till 12pm then I scrapped the above layout for Scrap Mojo.

My mom has let me have some old photos of me when I was young, and I thought this was a great photo to scrap "Oh The Places You Will Go" back then at 3 years old, I had so many dreams and I never knew where I would be by the time I was 20. I seem to be at a negative place in my life right now and this layout reminds me that things will get better, I still have alot to look forward to, and I need to stay positive because thinking "I will never get a job, knowone wants me" is not a good way to be. Also people have bigger problems then I do.

This layout really makes me smile! infact every layout I have created recently has made me smile, I feel I am a comfortable scrapper.

New Haircut

Hey! I am in the blogging mood, I took the above photo for 365 days my new candy smarties bowl from Urban Outfiters and have bought some Jolly Ranchers to put in them..........to eat haha! I am calling this bowl my "Candy Bowl" I will fill the bowl with candy and put it in my room.

NEW HAIRCUT!!!! I had my haircut on Saturday! I have wanted to go for a drastic change, shorter, so I was brave and had my hair cut short. This is the pictures straight after I had it done, but I am finding it really difficult to dry and get it perfect like this myself. I am a girl who's hair is naturally straight, so when it was long I just rough dried it and never needed to straighten it, so its difficult, but I am sure I will get used to it. Everyone likes my new hair apart from my mum, and hers in the opinion I value most.......even when I am 20 years older I know I will always care about what she thinks.

I have been spending more and more on Scrapping products, I had my eye on this gorgeous kit from Sweet Spuds Kits, and managed to pre-order a kit! YAY!!!!! I cannot wait to get this in the mail! its full of goodies.

Q how did you come up with roxie's name...she is just a doll?

A: When I first started looking for a kitten I had the name “Daisy” in my head as a name. But when we got Roxie she was such a character it had to be a feisty name, so I thought of my favourite place “New York” and then thought of the musical Chicago which we saw on broadway and “Roxie” popped into my head…….its the perfect name for her, we even call her “The Fox Rox” because she has a tail like a fox.

Q: Um is there anything that you don't rock?? Your blog and the LO's on it are sheer inspiration.

A: Wow thanks! I would not say I rock though lol! It means a lot to hear positive comments about my photos and scrapbooking. My style is quite different from others…but its how I feel comfortable creating and I am so happy that people are inspired by my crazy creations haha. (the layout above is my newest layout, pretty style which is different to my normal funky style)

Q: what one word best describes who you are?
A: I would say I am Imaginative. I always have ideas in my head, every moment of the day! If you ask my friends and family they would probably say different things, but I think Imaginative is the best word to sum me up.

Q If you were a color of the rainbow, which is it?
I would be Orange because it’s a happy color and the color which inspires me the most.

Q: if the world was going to end and you could only stockpile one thing, food or drink, what would it be!
A: This took me ages to think of an answer, because I love my food. If I had to decide this right now it would be M&Ms because they are so tasty and I cannot stop eating them. I have to eat them when I scrap and in the morning, they are making me gain weight though lol!

Q If you could choose one person in the entire world, who would you choose to meet and why?

A:If I could I would like to be able to speak to my granddad, he died when I was only 2 years old and if I could I would love to meet him, even just to give him a hug, because I feel I already know him as my mum has told me so much, but I want to meet him in person.

Q How did you come up with your SIS name? It always makes me think of Starbucks!!
A: I came up with my SIS username frappuccinouk from the starbucks drink, Its my favourite drink and coffee place and being from the UK I thought I would add that to the end of the name.

Q Have you always been creative?

A: Since I can remember I have always been creative, I think I get it from my dad because he does a lot of art as a hobby. When I was younger I had a wild imagination, I have so many notepads with stories and songs I have written, I am so glad I have not thrown them away because it reminds me of the dreams I had when I was younger. I have always loved to cook, and from about 7 years old I have videos of me and my Nan baking cakes and cooking and me customising the recipe!

Q if you could be stuck in a lift with any celebrity past or present who would it be?

A:This is really difficult, If I could pick someone from the past I would say Elvis, because the man is amazing, there is so much I would like to ask him and I would get him to sing for me. If I could pick someone from the present day I would say Jennifer Aniston, she has always been a great role model of mine, ever since I was young watching her in friends, and I love her style and the way she deals with the press and how she got through the whole Brad, Angelina thing with dignity, I would love to meet her.

Q what is it you love [only one thing!] the most about scrapping/crafts?

A: I love that I can escape from the stress and worry of everyday life. When I am at my craft table with a good movie or TV show on, my mind is only on creating its wonderful seeing your design go from nothing to the end product makes me feel happy. When you log onto SISTV or challenge blogs it’s a different world…. a world where everyone scraps! I wish the world could be full of scrapping and art.

Three New Layouts For Sunday

Wow I have been busy scrapping this weekend! "Not Just A Pretty Face" is a layout for this weeks Scrapping The Music Challenge which goes up today! Roxie is not just a pretty face, she is such a clever kitty, funny and naughty. I used some gorgeous new owl Fabric for this layout and stitched around the edge.

Here is my layout for the latest Scrap Mojo challenge, "I had a Dream, my dream came true" the pow tag has hidden journaling on the back "I always dreamt of going to New York and for my 18th birthday my dream came true, I had the best time, this photo is of me shopping in Macy's with a statue of the statue of liberty". and check out the kittyrobot buttons , Roxie keeps licking the buttons lol! the more I took the layout away the more she wanted to get to them HAHA. I used alot of staples on this layout for the hambly and ribbon and I am liking the look staples give.

This layout is for a dare I did on the Scrap In Style boards! my dare was to go to a thread called "Hot Or Not" and scrap a celeb on there that I thought was either Hot or Not. I chose David Beckham, I have always had a crush on him. I used to love watching him play for our country (England) when he was at his best as a footballer!

I have alot of stuff going on at the moment, feeling really stressed, going to interviews, not getting jobs, and trying to take the time off work for interviews and having to lie. I am having an interview on Monday! the more I do not get a job the more my confidence is knocked down!

Its lunchtime here........I fancy a chicken bagel and I still have alot of Heros the first series to watch. My brother Steve has already watched the 2nd series on the internet, I told him I would go mad if he reveals what happens.

First Canvas Skull Style

I have had a creative day today! I painted my first canvas this skull I designed the skull myself after about 6 sketches I decided on this design. I am pleased with how it turned out. I am not sure what I am going to do with this Canvas yet. I created this layout of Roxie today! and guess what I used..........my kitty robot mushroom buttons! YAY they arrived yesterday! and they are even better in real life then they look in the photos! the colors are so bright and the detail is amazing!

My brother got the first series of Heros on DVD this weekend, and I have never seen it! (I know I have not lived right?) Its BRILLIANT! I spent all afternoon watching it and scrapping on the floor LOL, I have two more episodes to watch and my brother says there is so much in those two episodes! I might try to watch them tomorrow night after work.

Clear Buttons

I have had a tub of clear buttons for AGES! now and have hand painted them, and put them up on my Etsy shop HERE for sale I really like the clear buttons with the bright colors, and you do not see alot of customised clear buttons around! I have also added some foam flowers!

I got my bonus yesterday WOHOO!!! I had major plans this morning for scrappy stuff but I have spent all morning on these buttons lol! and in a couple of hours I am off shopping.......to treat myself with my money! because as my friend said "Dont save it all.........you worked too hard for that bonus TREAT YOURSELF".

Exciting News & Kawaii

Hey! I am feeling better, back to work today! only one more day until the weekend woohoo!

My foam flowers I put up on my Etsy shop are now sold out! I am going to make some more this weekend and I also have another idea for my Etsy shop so stay tuned for an update.

I have some exciting news, the wonderful Jodie has Etsy shop Kitty Robot has created a blog HERE to showcase her amazing products & has asked me to be a member of her Design Team to show what you can do with the cute creations she sells! Updated Etsy Shop

I am sick today! argh I feel awful, I have been in bed all morning I had to go and post a package which nearly killed me! I feel all flu like and I have a fever, I am lying here with all the windows open and its 8oc outside.

I have updated my Etsy Shop today! with 4 sets of customised foam flowers and a new banner for my shop. I have been working on these flowers for a week but have not had time to put them in my shop! I will be adding more in the next week or so.

Here are a couple of photos from my 365 day self portraits on Flickr. My skull socks and a handful of M&Ms! I am addicted to M&Ms at the moment, even being sick today I still want to eat them lol.

I have been buying ALOT of scrap related stuff and vintage goodies.........I only have £40 ($70) in my account and we should be getting paid Friday! I will post some pictures of what I have been buying.

Busy Day Ahead

Ok, the above layout just might be my new favourite layout that I have created........I don't know why......Its for today's challenge at Scrapping The Music. I had a different take on this challenge, I have been editing my photos alot lately and they are the same as the original just edited to make it look different. I stitched a border on this layout which I enjoyed.

I am posting a bit early today........8am because I am off to a football match Chelsea V Liverpool today WOOHOO! so excited! I am going with my dad who is also excited, its in north london though which is a couple of hours away, so I am going to be out from 11am till about 8pm tonight, the match starts at 4pm.

A layout I did last night, the scan came out rubbish........no matter how many times I scanned it! there is a shadow. the "same photo" layout scanned perfect! this is me in my new glasses. Funny thing is.......two weeks after I bought these my mum bought the same ones, not realizing I had bought them! we are so alike!

I have subscribed for 6 months of the Dozens kits! I think this one was made for me! packed with yumminess! I cannot wait to receive my kit!

I just realised I have not done a proper post in ages! apart from the challenge updates! I have been really busy with creative projects etc............I have not actually started anything, just sketching ideas. I have bought lots of paint and I plan to experiment when I get some time.

I have been busy looking for jobs..........its not easy......very stressful at the moment. Scrapping and photography is stopping me from getting too stressed.

I created this layout "Create" for the challenge at OLW I had so much fun with this layout! and it was voted as an "interesting" photo on Flickr last Saturday which I thought was really cool seeing my layout on the homepage.

This layout I did for fun of Roxie, I love scrapping photos of her! she makes me happy and scrapping her makes me happy! oh talk of the devil.........she has jumped up for a cuddle! haha *Purrrrrrrr* she has helped all of us get through the shock of loosing Phoebe cat!

I am planning to watch Juno this weekend I MUST see that movie, I am going to watch some football in London Chelsea V Liverpool at Chelseas stadium "Stamford Bridge" I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

Ok........so here is what has happened. I had such a good response to my challenge! lots of people said they would join in and on messageboards etc. However only two people managed to complete their layout ontime. Sad Day & Scrap Therapy

I would like to thank those who commented on my last post, you are all so sweet! your kind words really helped me last night.

I have some sad news. This morning the vets called us to say that the tests and scans have shown Phoebe cat has broken her legs and her spine as well as problems with her pelvis.........her spine cannot be fixed, I do not know how she survived the accident the poor thing. . The vet advised us that the best thing to do would be to put Phoebe to sleep as she cannot live! this morning, Phoebe passed away. I am so so sad and I am going to miss her so much! at least she will not suffer and be in pain any longer. Today little things around the house have reminded me of her and made me cry. Roxie kitten is all cuddly like she knows something is wrong!

I have scrapped alot this weekend, mainly to help me get through this.

I had the idea for this layout as soon as I opened my "Rainbow Sushi" Collection, Its four pics from my 365 day self portrait challenge on Flickr! I am hanging this on my wall to give me motivation to keep going with the challenge.

This layout is for the latest challenge at Scrap Mojo, I used my tag from the skull jumper as my "Trash" and attached it with a staple. I love this jumper and I used the Dozens kit for this layout.

So Sad Trying To Be Positive

I had to make a post, I am so upset. My cat phoebe (above) was hit down by a car yesterday! a lady found her and put posters around our area and we phoned her up as we knew it was her. She told us what had happened to Phoebe and that she did not make it through. So you can imagine I was in shock and in tears before I went to work. Then at 3pm my dad called me to let me know some shocking news..........the lady had got it wrong, she was only unconcious she has NOT died. I went through so much yesterday, I am a big animal lover. We found out she is in a vets nearby, Phoebe has a broken pelvis and is going to have further scans and tests today!

I pray that she will make it through, she is only 4 years old. The vet said she will need care as it will take 8 weeks or more for her to get better. It is possible she might have kidney failure, which will mean she will need to be put to sleep, but the vet sounded positive.

Phoebe is not a really friendly cat like Roxie is, she gets anxious and jumpy but I love her so much, Fingers crossed she will be ok.

I have stayed in today, having major scrap therapy, 3 layouts created so far, and here is a sneak of my layout for tomorrows challenge at Scrapping The Music.

Thursday Update.

I have been so busy this week, I am going out tomorrow night and then I have made myself a promise to stay in all weekend and scrap and have a sort through some things. I received my Rainbow Sushi collection today woohoo! I have put it away so I will not be tempted to scrap with it until the weekend, but I can almost hear it calling out to me "come and scrap with me, you know you want to" LOL. Here is a summary of news.

I have booked a 3 night holiday in Rome Italy, I am so excited, Italy is somewhere I have wanted to go for ages, and I love the culture of Rome.
I bought football tickets Chelsea V Liverpool for my dads birthday, we are going Feb 10th, I love football, my dad and I are big Chelsea fans, he always used to take me to see them when I was younger but now the tickets are so expensive we have not been in years.
I bought myself a printer, scanner, copier! Its a about time, Its too much of a luxury though, I have been using up all the ink on photos to scrap haha.
A friend who I have not seen in a few years contacted me, its so nice to have an email in my inbox from her, she has just passed her driving test and we are arranging to meet.

Saturday Thoughts

YAY! its the weekend! Its been such a busy week its nice to chill out a bit! I got up this morning and scrapped this layout for the latest challenge over at Category Stories This picture was taken before I had my hair cut, it was getting so long and heavy......and so hard to manage I really did have crazy hair! Used more of my Dozens Kit I love that kit! and also my new Dymo machine which I am getting used to!

This is a layout I did last week for fun, there were no challenges that caught my eye last week so I just went through my photo stash and picked up this cute photo of Roxie to create a fun girly layout.

This picture was my photo for last Saturday. Here in the UK you cannot get candy corn......I have searched everywhere, climbed mountains.......well mabe not mountains but I have climbed stairs to get my hands on some yummy candy corn. Last Saturday I had a look in my local "Sweets From Heaven" and they had some candy corn in their pic n mix! WOOOO! I was one happy girl! its funny how the little things can make you so happy.

Spice Girls Concert 2008

Its official the Spice Girls Rock! haha yep I am a geek I know. I went to their concert on Tuesday in London and they were brilliant! they are really slim and they still look and dance like they are 20! I hope I look that good when I am their age. We had a really good view of the stage. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric. The show was amazing even my mum who has been to hundreds of concerts said it was in her top 3 concerts she has ever seen.

This is a great picture, they did this like Chicago the musical, they were behind the feathers at first. Every time Victoria Beckham sang everyone cheered! and we saw David Beckham sitting near the front. Mel C was by far the best singer! We were lucky that we live close to The Dome in London, the concert ended at 10.30 and I was home and in bed by 11.20.

I have just had my hair cut...........It really needed a cut, it felt so heavy and my fringe was so long, it feels much lighter and its got lots of layers and shape in it.

So its Friday tomorrow! Its been a really stressful week, I am looking for a new job, doing tests in agencies etc so I am going to have a relaxing weekend and lots of scrapping.

So much to post about........so little time lol! I am going to see The Spice Girls in concert in London on Tuesday, cannot wait! I was about 9 or 10 years old when they were big in the UK and I still know all their songs and dances........sad I know.

I had a fun day yesterday, it started off like a normal day, took a shower, had some cereal then at 9.30am there was a knock at the door and Mr postman bought me a package! THE DOZENS KIT! wooohooo! It seriously rocks! and I was jumping around when I opened it up! I scrapped this layout yesterday afternoon, after I got back from shopping........where I bought alot of things, including a Polaroid camera! which I set up when I came home and took a couple of silly pictures with and created this layout with the kit and the photos.

This is my big news! I have been published in the UK mag Scrapbook Inspirations! Feb 08 issue! I did not know for sure it would be published then I received a couple of comments in my gallery and via email saying congrats on being published! I am kind of proud of myself........I am the kind of person who has no confidence and is quite negative about myself and for once I have done something that I feel I am proud of myself for. I scanned this copy of the page, its a layout of Roxie and I the first week or so that we had her! her eyes are so blue there like mine, they have gone yellow now!

I have so much to do today, chop vege for dinner, change bed, dust, sort out old clothes, and hopefully have time to scrap!

Spending Spree.

Here is a little card I made for my mums Birthday which is on Thursday, she is the big 50. I keep telling her age is just a number, she still looks about 40 and she still feels young. I think 50 is the new 30 haha. Used Love Elsie, AC thickers, Foam flower from my Etsy Shop and doodles.

I received my credit card statement this morning.........wow did I spend alot in December! its not good, I have spent about £150 ($280) on Scrapping products EEEEEEEEK! how bad is that?

Weekend Of Scrapping

Weekends just fly by don't they? especially when your scrapping. This layout I did for the latest challenge over at Category Stories to do a layout about Toys. This cute little M&M dispenser is the best gift and toy ever! had to use some funky bampop for this layout.

This layout is for this weeks challenge over at Scrapping The Music. I used alot of elements in this layout. I was given a doilie at a resturant over Christmas and slipped it into my bag to use on a layout, the pretty patterns and the white of the doilie was perfect for this layout, I have cut it and arranged it at the top of the photo in a fan like effect

I also used bubblewrap stamping, hambly overlays, Ki lace cardstock, foam flower customised by me. Star stamps, and at the last minute came up with the idea of the little felt bird, I doodled and stuck on his eye, and made a speech bubble saying "please" because it never snows here in the UK so "Please Let It Snow".

WOW I had the most rubbish day at work, came home logged into to my flickr account and find I am Decembers contest winner over at Elles Studio! for this layout!

WOOOOOO! its seriously made my day! I have been in such a bad mood lol! I got to pick out a product from the shop as my prize..........which was really hard as I love all their stuff!

Layouts For Mum

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

I just hope 2008 is better than 2007......as last year was not a great year for me! this year will be better, I am making goals for 2008 and am going to create a layout to remind me of what I want to achieve this year.
It is my Mums birthday next week and I wanted to create her something special! I made her two layouts last year for her dining room which is summer colors orange and yellow, however she bought some frames which were not great with the layouts! so I have created these two layouts and bought frames to put them in so she can hang these in the dining room. The layout above is of my mum and dad and the layout below is of my brother and I.

I have to go back to work tomorrow, holiday is over *sighs* back to reality! I am going to look for a new job in London! that is one of my goals! I am actually dreading work tomorrow that I have this twinge in my stomach......I know not many people love their job but I should not be feeling like this!
I have just spent alot of scrapping supplies LOL this is what I get like when I worry about things buy lots!

Christmas Mini Book 2007

Here is my Christmas Mini Book 2007! I bought this acrylic album a couple of months ago, it was waiting for a special purpose LOL. I took quite a few photos this Christmas and seeing as I have been on holiday from work until Tuesday I have had time to make this Christmas album! and wow its so much fun! I seriously wish I had more time to create wonderful things.

Here is a little sneak peak of a layout I have created for my mum for her birthday, she is the big 50 this January, and seeing as she has got what she wanted for Christmas I have put my scrapping to use and have created two layouts for her to put in the dining room, I already created two for her last summer but they seem a bit "outdated" all I need now is two frames in the right size........which will be a difficult task!

Hello!!!!!! I have been a busy bee! I have just created a new blog header (see above). I had alot of fun making this!

I could not sleep last night so I made more Foam flowers for my Etsy Shop

There are 3 new sets of 6 and a set of 8 and a set of 4! go check it out here The flower borders would be great as a journaling border or any border on a layout!

I woke up at 4am and could not get back to sleep so I thought I might as well be useful and make these Funky flowers. As you can see on my blog header I have added a Funky Foam flower.

I feel on a role this morning, I might scrap some more!

Lots Of Time

A little sneak peak of something I am working on! As I am off work until Wednesday I have some time to do things I enjoy........Scrap!

I have had a great Christmas, spending time with the Family no arguments, we have all been getting along really well, playing our new Nintendo Wii! I love this picutre of my brother and I! he is so much taller than me.....he is two years younger and I always used to be taller than him! 2 years ago he just shot above me in height.

I got this gorgeous Valour Juicy purse from my parents, they bought it in the US and it was half the price I would pay for it here in the UK! I love it!!!

Me and my new camera! argh I LOVE THIS CAMERA! I have alot of reading through the instructions to do, its brilliant compared to my old camera.

I have eaten sooooo much, I have not been to the gym for a week and when I went today I really felt unfit! I got out of breath in 10 mins of my workout.

I am hoping to complete my little project tomorrow, so watch out for an update!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! I am already in the festive spirit eating lots of festive food and listening to Christmas songs!

Tonight I am having a meal with my family in a local resturant! its a 4 course meal. I have my hair in curls so my hair will go curly. I am taking lots of pictures as I plan on making a Chrismtas 2007 album.

The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Yes Christmas is here at last!!!! yesterday at work was SO BUSY! all of our clients were chilling out and having a more relaxing day in the office eating mince pies and having a drink and we had too much work and knowone was in the festive spirit BAH humbug!!!!
While wishing the clock would turn to 5pm yesterday I had the idea to buy my mum some flowers. my local florist made up this gorgeous bouquet of flowers, roses and Christmas flowers!
My mum has been feeling down lately and has some worries with her health, we are waiting for worrying results, right ontop of Christmas so I thought these would cheer her up..........and they sure did, she cried with happiness.

So its now busy busy, here is my plans for the next few days.

Today - Food Shopping at 7am - total cost £170 ($300)
Tonight we have family over, my aunt, uncle and cousians, they are arriving in an hour, I must get ready. We might set up our Nintendo Wii tonight aaah so exciting.
Sunday - My mum and I are going to the movies to watch "St Trinians" Colin Firth is in it, and my mum had a huge crush on him. we will come home and make sausage rolls and ice our Christmas cake. Eat leftovers from tonights buffet.
Christmas Eve - I will go to the cemetery with my mum to lay a wreath where my nan and Grandad were laid to rest. We will then cook for most of the day, chestnut stuffing, trifle, peel the veg for the next day. We are going for a family meal in a restaurant in the evening.
Christmas Day - Traditional family Christmas.......the older generation fall asleep after dinner!
Boxing Day (day after Christmas) - go to the gym, visit some friends for some drinks, then come home and eat leftovers from Chritmas dinner yummy!

I really want to do my best to do this!!! I booked time off as the office closes for a couple of days and I used two days leave so I end up having 11 days off! thats a result as I have worked so hard the last couple of months, trying to get a bonus! so I need the break!

Bubble Wrap Tutorial & Festive Layouts.

This layout is for this weeks challenge at Scrapping The Music the song is of course "Rockin Around The Christmas Tree". Go and join the challenge we would love to see you there. I loved creating this layout, its fun and happy! I used Love Elsie Noel pp which I cut into stripes and doodled around. I created a paper posie, inked and painted. I used giant Ric Rak ribbon which goes really well with the layout, I added some rub ons to the layout and photo. The photo was taken December 06 when my mum and I went to Dublin Ireland, a waiter in the restaurant took of us infront of the Christmas tree. I also doodled on the alphas.......I could not resist lol.

This layout I did for the latest Mojo challenge! I know its Christmas when I can smell all these foods and I am baking yummy festive food. I wrote all Christmas food around the layout, used some fun Love Elsie fun embellies, doodled border and used Bubble wrap which I painted and stamped on the layout. Here is how to use Bubblewrap! I am sure with all the Christmas presents you have and scrapping orders you recieve you have mountains of bubble wrap around

Measure how much you want to use on your layout, I usually roughly cut it! then find some paint in the color you wish to use, and paint on the bubble wrap be careful not to pop any bubbles lol!

Once the paint has been applied, flip the bubble wrap so the paint side is facing down ready, find a space on your layout where you would like to stamp the bubble wrap. Now gently press the bubblewrap down onto your page, pressing down all over the back of the bubblewrap so that the paint will stamp. Now carefully peal back the bubble wrap to reveal a cool funky pattern!

Go on, give it a go! If you are brave enough to use this technique comment with your layouts, I would loved to see them.

Bubba Ro

Thank you to all of you who have asked how Roxie is! she is! I tell you it was wonderful collecting her from the Vet! and she has not left my side since, she is sitting with me now as I type this. Roxies op went really well, she has had a big patch of fur shaved off........and as she is a long haired kitty it looks awful poor thing!!!

As soon as we let her out of her cage and into the hall she came out and woddled upstairs, she is so fiesty and a little fighter nothing gets in her way, she was eating normally within 10 minutes of being home, and she jumped into the Christmas tree about 6 hours after being home! so normal confident Roxie is back!!! yesterday she slept ALOT! and today she is much better. We take her to the vet for them to check everything looks ok tomorrow, but she is doing great.

As she has not left my side all weekend I decided to scrap a layout of Roxie and the title "Bubba Ro" is one of her nicknames, my printer stopped working again, so I have had to use a picture of her taken two months ago. I used Ki memories, Pop cluture collection! I love the paper line.

I have managed to get my hands on a Nintendo WII for Christmas! its a big craze here in the UK and we love fun interactive games in my family, so I bought it for everyone in my family as one present which is easier for me. We are going to open it the weekend before Christmas so 2 weeks time, cannot wait!!!

Naughty & Nice

Today I took the day off work to go Christmas shopping! and when I got back I was really in the festive mood and scrapped this layout "Naughty & Nice" I have been looking forward to digging into my Love Elsie "Noel" collection, today seemed the perfect day to scrap.

Roxie is at the vets being spayed! I cried when I dropped her off! the vet is lovely though and I know she will be in safe hands. I can pick her up in a couple of hours. The vet said they would call me to let me know the op went ok, but I have not heard anything yet.
Here is a a pic of my Christmas Tree! its very traditional and all the decorations are from different places in the world each one tells a story, thats why our tree is so special. You can see the vegas decoration, the mikey mouse ears I bought back from Disney Paris, the gingerbread man is from Stratford upon Avon! we have so many decorations I could look at them all day!

The house seems soooo quiet without Roxie Kitten........I don't like it!!!! I might go and do some more scrapping to keep myself busy while I wait for the vet to call.

This week has been soooooooo mad in my house! the boiler broke and a pipe in my loft burst right above my wardrobe! water dripped from the ceiling and If I had not woke up at 3am and heart the water falling I would have lost all my scrapbook pages! as well as photos and clothes (which are replacable) but photos and scrapbook pages are memories! we were lucky!

We have had 3 days without heating! which as you can imagine has been really difficult but we have managed and a plumber came to fix everything yesterday and its ok now! I have a nice warm house again.

Warmth

YAY! my printer and scanner is all working again! every day I have got it working again it broke down again the next day.......but its been 3 days now and its still working.........so thats got to be good right? so I was able to print this picture of Starbucks Christmas Hot chocolate and scrap the above layout for this weeks challenge at Category Stories the challenge was "Warmth" and I had the idea almost automatically to do a layout of Starbucks hot chocolate. For me its "Instant Warmth" there is nothing better than being cold and buying a yummy hot chocolate from Starbucks to Warm you up.

Last night I went christmas shopping straight from work! it was manic, soooooo busy that I could not enjoy shopping, and thats a Friday night, I dread to think what its like Saturday and Sunday!

Lastly I received a parcel full of Ki memories new "Pop Culture" collection! I love it!!!!

Today I am cleaning the house, then going into the country to a farmshop to buy frozen chestnuts for our Christmas chestnut stuffing! they are already pealed and cooked, you just have to defrost and chop! so much easier! we have had stuffing gone wrong with chestnuts you have to peel and cook yourself!

At last!!! I can scrap!!!!!!! I have had 10 days without a printer.......and this morning I got it working again, I printed 4 pictures and then the printer stopped working again!!!!!!!!!! which is kind of annoying, but on the bright side I have the four pictures I wanted to scrap with. Hopefully an engineer will be over this week to fix it.

The above photo I have used the gorgeous "Zoe" range from "Love Elsie". I had this idea in my head for ages!!!!! the scan came out a little bright as that is not working well either.

It has got very cold here in the UK the last week! frost all over the car in the morning, so I have to leave 10 mintues early to get the ice off my car! I kind of like it though.......I love this time of year!

I was in the mood to scrap a really bright layout, I feel down today because I have been off work all week and have to go back tomorrow, so to take that dread feeling away I scrapped! its the best therapy lol. This photo is of my brother and I years ago, its such a happy picture, we are drinking non alcholic cocktails! I used Hambly, KI memories felt flowers, foam flowers customised by me you can buy in my etsy shop. Buttons, Queen and Co felt, paint.

This is such a bad pic of me! no makeup and awful hair which I covered up with a hat, a quick picture of me and Roxie just before I went to the shops to buy some bread for lunch.

Hershey bar which my parents bought back from Las Vegas! we dont get this chocolate here in the UK, we have cadbury's which is probably better chocolate but its nice to have something different.

They bought me 3 packets of these as I love them! when I went to NYC I bought a bucket of these home from the Hershey shop in Times Square lol

Ok these were a BARGIN! here in the UK Timberlands are £100 which is roughly converted $180, but because of the great conversion rate at the moment these boots were $40 which is £20! so I have saved like £80! these boots are somthing I wear for casual days and walking! I cannot believe the price of them!

I created this lo yesterday at like 6am LOL the idea for this girly hello kitty lo came into my head and I had to scrap it, yeah I know its mega pink but I think it suits the layout. Roxie always follows me around the house and I always say "hello kitty".

My parents are back from Vegas tomorrow! I have really missed being able to speak to them! and Its been hard work having to clean the whole house all the time, normally my mum and I share the jobs but its been such hard work......and Roxie has been a naughty kitty! seriously jumping into washing machines eating wires......all things which could kill her she has been doing.

Week Of Relaxation

All is good today because I have my new "Love Elsie" goodies, my first delivery arrived today, I am still waiting for my USA package but half of it is here WOOOO! and of course I jumped right into the stash and created this fun lo "Creative". I used pink a pink background and cut out the patchwork style squares from the Zoe pp and stuck them on individually. The foam flower is handmade available in my Etsy shop. I doodled buttons to frame the photo & ribbon to frame the jounaling.

I love how this turned out, my brother says this is his favourite of all my pages and is very creative. lol

My week off so far is going well, I am still recovering from my virus, but I managed a trip to Bluewater my favourite shopping mall, I bought a new top and kind of made the mistake of walking into a shop called "Hotel Chocolat" which of course is full of chocolate, and I spent some money on some rocky road and various other chocolate slabs.........I have such a sweet tooth.

Here is some news! I have opened an Etsy Store......... FUNKY DESIGNS

At the moment there are 3 sets of 4 handpainted/handdoodled foam flowers, which was inspired by my little cousian as she had to do an art project and I took her to hobbycraft and looking at kids crafts and found foam shapes including flowers. We added glitter for her project but then I decided to make the leftover foam flowers into cute funky embelishments!

I am hoping to put together some mini kits too soon! but I wanted to test the water so to speak and see if these flowers are a hit and if they are I will create some more. I have just created a paypal account so I hope that all works!

Also I have the whole week of work! horray!!!!!!!!! and Love Elsies Zoe and Noel ranges came out in the UK on Friday so I ordered a next day delivery, so the order will be dispatched Monday and I will receive it Tuesday WOOOOOOO!

I also have some yummy Hambly to play with!

Sneaky Peaky

This is a sneak peak of my layout for next weeks challenge at scrapping the music. I made it a bit blurry to not give much away! but you can tell its a bright colorful layout.

I have next week off work and my parents are going to vegas, which means the whole house to myself WOOOOO! well Roxie will be here and Steven (my brother) but he will be at school until 3pm. That means lots of scrapping again WOOOOO!

I have a really bad cold, its more like flu as I am really achy, I had two days of work last month as I was sick so I cannot really go sick again..........just my luck, I go a year without being sick then I am sick twice in two months. I really struggled today I was closing my eyes at my desk and then jumping back into reality! I cannot wait till next week! freedom for one week.

I am have a little project I am working on, I have all the ideas I just need to do some shopping, crafting and then put it together. stay tuned lol!

Layouts For My Bedroom Wall Part 2

I did my 2nd layout for my newly decorated bedroom Sunday "Roxie" the little cutie, this photo was taken the first week I got her. She is alot bigger now she is 20 weeks old! went crazy with doodles, buttons and used some stamps which I used pen to give a bit of color. The paper posie is handmade and painted :D

Here are the two pictures in their glory!!! they really look good together and really brighten up my wall! I still have a whole wall to play with! I am trying to decide what I want on that wall. The thing about these frames are that I can take these layouts out and change them if I want. I think I will leave these up for the winter and change the layouts in the spring.

The UK has hit a cold spell at the moment! its freeeeeeeeezing! I had to wear gloves and a scarf! winter is officially here! and I love it! my favourite time of year, coming home from work to a nice warm house and drinking hot chocolate on a Sunday and that cozy feeling!

Bedroom layout part 1

My Jack and Abbey goodies came in the post this morning! YAY!!!! so at last I got to make a start on the two layouts I am framing in my bedroom. For those who do not know, I just decorated my bedroom Chocolate and Cream, and I am doing two 12x12 layouts to frame on my wall. I might do more in the longterm but I have not decided.

This layout "Yummy" is the first layout of the two that I did this morning, I baked these yummy cakes last weekend and iced them and decorated them with Smarties!

The technique I used to get the white dot pattern at the top of the layout was, I painted some bubblewrap and stamped down on the layout! I love how it turned out.

I am not doing anything this weekend! I'm not feeling very well so thought I might as well have a lazy weekend, scrap and clean and I am cooking pasta tonight.

I am waiting for my Jack and Abby goodies to arrive..........however due to the post strikes things are taking time! and I really wanted to create some layouts using these papers for my new room! all my room is painted and I have a chocolate coloured blind for my window, I just have to get some voil wraps to wrap over the top of my window! I cant describe how it will look so I will post pictures.

I have about 3 packages I am waiting for including some AC thickers, and lots of Queen and Co felt! which I am in love with.

I have to go do some dinner quickly as its 7.15pm and I have to drive to pick my brother up from work at 8pm.

Scrappy Sunday

I did not intend to do alot of scrapping this weekend..........but I kind of did LOL. I have been stressed and fed up at work all week and instead of worrying about Monday I scrapped.
The above layout "Funky Bag" is of my favourite bag! when I saw the bampop paper I just had to scrap this photo. I used paint to paint a rainbow like pattern to border the layout.
I stamped some stars, doodled the photo border, Used American Craft Thickers for the title, used Hambly rub ons and made a little flower out of Love Elsie Embellies.

This layout is of me in my PJ's haha. I love having lazy days! its normally sundays for me just chilling, scrapping and eating! I used bampop, doodled buttons, doodled journal box, AC thickers and some random ribbon from my stash. I also used some novelty stickers and cut a little anime character off some memos I have.

This layout is for this weeks challenge at Scrapping The Music
I hate how this scan turned out! it looks much better in real life..........no matter how much I editied it the layout does not look right.

WOW! so excited! I submited a layout of mine to the UK Scrapbook Inspirations Magazines readers gallery and I recieved an email saying they would like to publish the layout.

I am sending it tomorrow, however it needs to reach them by next Friday and due to the post strikes in the UK there is a posibility it may not reach them!
I am going to send it the fastest delivery so fingers crossed.

& they said sometimes not all layouts are published if they need more space in the mag! but hopefully mine will be shown!

You Make Me Smile

I can now share this layout with you! its my first layout as a DT member for Scrapping The Music challenge blog! this weeks song is "Bubbly"by Colbie Caillat. I knew straight away that I wanted to create a layout using the lyrics "You make me smile, even just for a while" which fits this picture of Roxie and I perfectly. I have used this picture on a layout before, but I believe that if the picture fits use it......Even if you scrap the same picture 100 times!!!

I used American Crafts new PP to create a bright happy fun theme, the three flowers I painted and added a brad to the centre. Used some Ki memorie Felt dots and rik rak ribbon and doodled border and letter stickers.

I said I would have lots of time this weekend to scrap but I have not LOL! so I got up at 6am to scrap a layout for next weeks STM challenge! because I have been painting my room all weekend! well yesterday I went a bought the paint and cleared my room, today I put the first coat on and its a cream/white color! nice and calm. I am going to add some chocolate accessories and I have bought two 12x12 box frames so I can put a couple of lo's on my wall! I am so excited!!!!

Rushing Around

I just russled up these cakes! not bad for a rushed effort! Its been so cold and rainy all week here. However its the perfect fall atmosphere! and I spent all day at work looking forward to coming home turning my heating on, putting my pjs on and baking some cakes!

Tomorrow at work is a team building day! we are off to some luxury hotel in the Kent countryside to do activities such as Archery and treasure hunts! not my scene at all! I will give it my best and just hope the day goes fast lol!

I am hoping to get a couple of layouts done this weekend! as I should have a bit of time, the only thing I must do this weekend is go and buy Roxie Kitten a new bed! she has outgrown her one! my little baby is growing! she is more cuddly now she is bigger! I hope I can get her one on Saturday!

Sunday Lazy Days!

LOL! I just HAD to post this picture! this is last week, Roxie looking at phoebe (my other cat) through the window and Phoebe hissing at Roxie! Roxie just wants to play with Phoebe but poor Phoebs thinks little Rox is a threat! most of the afternoons Roxie chases Phoebe and Phoebe runs away hissing.........but that does not bother Roxie, she just chases her.

Here is a photo of Roxies first time out in the garden! my little baby looks too small to be going out! I have just been letting her in the garden, she is not big enough to climb over any walls yet! but I went to the top of the garden and called ROXIE and she came bounding over puring away!

Most of today I have been working on my first layout for Scrapping The Music!!! thats the only layout I am doing this weekend and I cannot post it until next Sunday when It is on the site!!! AAAAAAAAAH I want to post it now! I am so impatient! cannot wait until next Sunday! maybe I will post a small sneak peak in the week.......I would have had time to do a layout yesterday but I really had to have a tidy up and clean my room which took me hours.

Saturday Randomness

Happy Saturday!!!!!!! A two packages arrived for me today! one was from Tracy! who has sent me lots of goodies! she really put some thought into what she sent me! Thank you so much!!!! (I shall send you a thank you email on Monday when I will let you know that I have sent your goodies).

The 2nd package was some buttons including clear buttons! I love to doodle on buttons so thought I would doodle some to send to Tracy! I used Black, green and red to coordinate them!

since making these I have just hand painted some buttons too! so thats my crafty thing for today!

I also bought these novelty cute stickers and badges which I am sooooooo using in a layout!!!! sorry for the rubbish photo! I tried to edit it and this was the best I could do.

Oh and I have just changed my blog colors! just added some fall colors, I will change it in a month to be christmasy! can you believe its october on Monday???? crazy!

Weekend Goals

Just a quick update! This week has gone so slow!!!! but tomorrow is Friday!!!! I am now 100% well again! I was so ill and I am so glad I am fit as a fiddle! ok here are my aims for the weekend!

Buy Ugly Betty Season 1 on DVD! Its just come out here in the uk! YAY!
Complete my package of goodies for my SISTV swap with Tracey!
Complete my first DT layout for Scrapping The Music.
Let Roxie outside for the first time (scared but excited! she will love it though)

I think I can achieve them goals! however I have cleaning to do, ironing and errands to run! but I am super girl I can do all these things!!!!

OMG!!!! soooooooooo excited!!!! I was literally just going to log off and I recieved an email from Mary Yontz from Scrapping The Music to tell me I made it on the Design Team WOOOOOOOO! I seriously feel so honoured!!!!!!! check it out! its going to be great! Music inspires me so much and this site is brilliant because your challenged to scrap music!

I am not sure who else is on the DT yet! but I cannot wait to find out!!!!!! right I really have to log off now!!! I was supposed to log off an hour ago! and Roxie is crying to be fed!

Purrrrrrrrrfect

I have spent this morning working on this layout for the OLW challenge! to use the word "Perfect", the first thing that came into my head was Roxie! and as cats purrr I wanted to change the title to "Purrfect" this adds my personal ideas and take on the challenge! I used Tinkering Ink PP, doodled border, Love Elsie ribbon, Bampop journal frame and Hambly overlay flowers. The title is AC thickers which I outlined and added little gems to.

The journaling reads... "This little Kitten has been called a Gremlin! but to me she is gorgeous, furry, friendly and a joy to have, to me Roxie you are Purrrfect!"
Its true she is perfect. People say Roxie looks different and does not look like a cat! which I think is not fear! I love her because she is unique, she is furry and so cute like a little bear! she is so loving and sweet, alot different to my other cat Phoebe who hisses at everyone, she is not friendly at all but she is what people would say perfect looking!

Well this layout is for Roxie my unique sweet and pretty little cat who is the best cat a girl could ask for!

I managed to create a layout with my Bampop collection! yay for me! especially as I am still Ill today, but ALOT better! I just feel exhausted and I just need to rest, I ment to scrap this morning but did not start till lunch as I had no energy. I nearly passed out when I completed this layout! but I did finish it, and considering I am ill I dont think it turned out too bad.

The layout is of me 5 years ago when I had braces (and thats my school uniform) I just had to scrap these pix with the Bam pop. The blue pp called out to me as it went with my school uniform, and I wanted a black background. I doodled swirly borders around the photos and used various alphas for the title. "Braceface is free" and arrow to show the before and after pictures.

I cut out those critters from pp and used foam dots to attach them to the page as this adds dimention and makes them pop from the page. The top critter looks like its shouting the title hehe. I then added a button border between the pp and black border and lastly used the pop frames to add journaling, and outlined the title.

I feel Sick

I am off work sick today! argh I feel awful, I have a sore throat and I am all achey and hot, my eyes feel heavy and I was sick last night! I am lying in bed with a drink of hot lemon! I cannot eat as I have been sick! argh what a nightmare! I have not been sick at work for a year so Its not like I make a habit of it! I dont think I will be going in tomorrow as I need to rest.

On a happy note my BamPop Vol3 arrived from the USA yesterday! how exciting!!!!!!!!!! Its sitting right next to me now, and If I was not so ill I would be scrapping with the papers right now! ooooooh I hope I am better the weekend! I have to get stuck into my Bampop LOL.

Feeling Wild!!!!!!

This morning I really felt like scrapping something funky! I just had to dig into my hambly stash and I realy wanted to use this zebra pp! this picture of Roxie was perfect for this PP! this is her "Naughty Face" she has alot of different faces let me tell you that! theres cute face when she wants cuddles, sad face when she does not get her own way, crazy face when she is jumping around and this Naughty Face is when she is stalking something and is in a playful mood. I used Ki Memories Wild Thing PP and that gave me inspiration for the title! haha.

I used some Hambly transparancys and the bird cage rub on, this was very risky let me tell you! all the rub ons I have ever bought never rub on right and ruin the layout but Hambly have restored my faith in rub-ons! I must have traced over the rub ons a million times to make sure it came out and it did YAY!!!!
We also have a paper posie I scrunched, inked and painted the outside in red, ribbon and doodled button as well as a doodled frame, some of the ribbon and half of the title is Love Elsie! never be afraid to mix products! if its what you feel looks good through it onto the page.

I have just realised I have not done any ironing today and therefore will have nothing to wear for work tomorrow! argh I would rather spend time on here! mmmmmmmh ironing........Internet? I think I'll stay on here for a bit longer lol.

La Weekend

I am so glad its Saturday! I have had the most awful week! so much pressure has been put on me and I cracked on Wednesday and burst into tears at work! and I never cry at work! its just stupid! I seriously feel down, they do not appreciate what I am having to do.........and I am just not paid enough!

Scrapping this layout today has made me feel a bit better! isnt it amazing how scrapping helps with stress! I have been meaning to start scrapping my New York photos from 2006, this pic is of me on the window ledge of our hotel room, overlooking St Patricks and The Rockafeller Centre, gosh the way I have been feeling this week I wish I was there right now!

This morning I went to Bluewater a shopping mall to buy lots of fruit salads and a friend of mine who works in GAP gave me a 25% off voucher for this weekend, and so I bought a big comfy jumper!

Movie Star

I could not sleep this morning! I was up at 5am! stressing and worrying about work and what I have to remember to do on Monday! argh! I hate my job!!!!!!! I let Roxie out of her room, cleaned her tray and gave her some breakie. Then by about 6.30am I decided to scrap! you know when you are just in the scrappy mood? Roxie followed me to my room and I scrapped this layout "Movie Star" with roxie asleep on my lap the whole time LOL!!!!!!!!

This is a pic of me a few years ago when I visited Madam Tusauds in London! I love this pic of me and Marilyn Monroe wax statue. I used Ki Memories PP, American Craft Thickers, chipboard stars which I doodled dots on, scalloped card, buttons, painted dots around the layout and a doodle photo border.

I have just completed this layout! of Roxie and I! I wanted to create a layout to show how much I love her! seriously she has bought alot of joy into my life. Sure she is naughty at times and very hard work but I have never moaned about her or said a bad word about her! I have learnt so much from her. She is very clever and cuddly and loves me just as much as I love her! I love watching her grow every day! she is learning new things everyday and being more daring!

I created a kind of circle, half of the circle I cut out flowers from Urban Lily pp, I jazzed this up a bit by doodling and adding brads and felt to the centre of each flower. The other half of the circle I have painted a rainbow like pattern, I love paint!

Lastly I doodled on the title! I might hang this one in my room!

Daddy's Girl

I just realised I had not shared this layout here yet! I really thought I posted it!
This layout is of my dad and I when I was a baby! its such a cute photo! as there is alot of blue in the photo I wanted that to be the main color of the layout. I used SISTV "I heart candytown" paper and popsicle stick, stamps are safarass lass & I doodled in the centre of each. I wanted to keep this layout simple yet effective.

I love this 6x12 format! Its great for quick layouts!

Today is Saturday and I have spent most of this afternoon at the hairdressers having my hair colored! it takes forever at the hairdressers, I think I was there for 3 hours.

I am hoping to get scrapping tomorrow.

A couple of things

Its Monday and a national holiday here in the UK so I get today off work! and I am going to do nothing! mind you I have not slept in.....its 8am and I have been up since 6.40am to look after Roxie.
The above layout "Tasty Treats" I created yesterday, some of the papers in the "I heart candytown collection" really inspired me to create a layout based on frappuccinos, I wanted it to have a tropical summery chill out feel. I used some paint on this one! I love using paint! I am finding it difficult not to use paint in layouts!
This "Relax" card, I made for my living room to remind me to relax, because I am such a worrier, always thinking of things and stressing about work etc, even when I am sitting in my living room watching a movie (which I should be chilled) this card hopefully will remind me to RELAX! The only time I dont worry is when I scrapbook, I find it difficult not to scrapbook every day........because its the one thing that takes my mind off everything.

I am so glad its the weekend! and Monday is a national holiday in the UK so I get the day off work! a nice long weekend!

My "I heart Candy Town" Collection arrived this week! it turns out there was an error on their system and my order had not been shipped, but they put it on an express delivery and it took like 5 days!

The above layout "Cutie Pie" of Roxie Marie is paper from the collection cut into strips with the heart sequins and pink paperclip. I used American Craft Thickers, Pink cardstock and a white pen to create a doodle border, I used Hambly pink rub ons and of course doodled hearts and circles. I wrote "Roxie Marie" on the photo.

I got my photos developed this morning of Roxie and had to scrap with them right away! where I went to get my photos its self service so you can print them straight away, and there was a woman next to me who saw my photos printed and kept saying how gorgeous Roxie is!

Sprinkles (With Help From Roxie)

Happy Saturday everyone! I am sharing a layout I created this morning called "Sprinkles", I made these cakes last week and got a bit carried away with the pink icing.......but thats because its one of my favourite colours!
To start this layout I got my white carstock and painted a square in the centre (see below).

I then cut and placed the Hambly Overlay over the painted square and attached the photo. I cut strips of Love Elsie PP from the Betty Range and arranged it to the left of the photo and the bottom of the photo.

I then cut out some shapes from the Sassfass Lass Scrumptious pp and placed them to the right of the layout. I had already created the title in my mind before I started the layout. I used Scenic Route Cream Alphas and then used Multi Coloured pens to create a sprinkles look by doodling on the alphas! they actually look good enough to eat!

The last touches was the journaling and the paper flower inspired by One Little Word I dabbed a little white paint on them and inked them. Lastly I doodled the swirly border. & 3 doodled buttons to the corner of the photo.

I had alot of help with this layout from Roxie! so I have to give her some credit LOL! she insisted on walking on the craft table and sitting on my lap watching what I was creating! so this layout is kind of special

Scraps Of Style Header

Here is a my new blog header! I scrapped it today! the picture does not do the layout justice....I have tried editing the pic but it did not come out as good as it looks in real life.......dont you just hate it when it happens!!

Pictures For the Parents Part 2

YAY! I completed the 2nd layout for my parents to hang on the wall of their dining room! (see previous entry) so the two layouts "Smile" & "Dublin" are complete! they do go well together altough they are a bit different which is what I was aiming for. My mum nearly cried LOL! she loved them both. My mum said she would like more they are so good. I emailed them both to my aunt to look at and she was so shocked I had created them, she says I should make a business out of this!

I am so glad I have done the pictures, its a big accomplishment.

My Hambly rubons have arrived but still no sign of the "I heart Candy Town Collection".

I have also bought a 12x6 album to experiment with that size page for layouts.

Picture For Parents Part 1

Ok so do you remember a few posts back where I said that my parents have just decorated their dining room and wanted me to design two pics to frame and hang on the wall? well today I managed to get one picture done! (layout above) Horray!!! I feel so chuffed that they think my designs are good enough to display in their room, but they seem to love my work and that to me means the world! especially because when I first started scrapbooking they did not understand why I was doing it.........and thought I would not do it for long........and now they seem to be my biggest fans lol!

The layout is of me, my brother and my cousians, I have an orange theme going on as the dining room has just been decorated orange! I mainly used French Twist PP for this layout, and added a touch of paint creating some swirls, and used some Queen & Co Felt ribbon, felt shapes and buttons. As a final touch I added a doodled border around the photo and a swirly doodly border around the layout.

So thats one layout down and one to go for the parents! we are just about to have a BBQ! its HOT HOT here in London!

Oh I hate waiting!

mmmmh Miss Nikki is getting very impatient! I am waiting for my Candy Town Collection to arrive.....I ordered it on 23rd July and as I am from the UK it can take up to 2 weeks.........today is 7th August so I expect it should be here anyday soon! but I cannot wait another day!!!!!

I am also still waiting for my Hambly rub ons! haha you will have gathered by now I am not patient!

I shall keep you updated on whether my goodies arrive! hopefully I will be scrapping one or both of the two pictures for my parents dining room! I have no idea what I want my layouts to look like, I do not work by sketches I tend to lay out the products I am going to use and let my creative juices flow! watch this space!

Baby Roxie

Ok this week has been crazy! Firstly I have two layouts to share with you. The "Love Sushi" layout I created last week, I wanted to create a black and white layout to go with the sushi theme. I used a mix of Scenic Route and Love Elsie & created a black and white border around the layout, and a black and white circle border, there is some inking on the paper tearing, & I created a ribbon flower.

Now the top layout "Baby Roxie" I created today, it is of course of my gorgeous baby kitten Roxie! I used my Hambly overlays for the first time and cut out 3 hearts and attached them with little pink brads. I used glitter on the right of the hearts and some glitter on the flower stamps. The stamps and pp are Sassafras Lass. I could not help but include a speech bubble for the journaling "I am 6 Weeks Old and I love Cuddles with my mummy". She does bless her, this minute she is asleep on my lap as I type this, she just sleeps anywere.

I feel soooooooo tired, she needs constant attention as she is still a baby, she is learning things every day and I love watching her on her little adventures!
